

The OSCam that is installed by default with OpenViX didn't work for me on my Octagon SF8008. If not then don't worry, somebody will give you one if you need it. You should already have the rver file that you need. You can create these files yourself if you want to and paste this into them: Inside the "oscam" folder you need 6 files: nf, er, oscam.dvbapi, oscam.srvid, ache and rver.

If you are on OpenATV you will find this folder in: /usr/keys/ To use OSCam you will need to create a folder called "oscam" and place it into the location: /etc/tuxbox/config/ on your receiver. Without knowing how to do this I would never buy an ARM chip receiver! Please do not say google is your friend as on other occasions as I have looked and looked and not found a straightforward explanation or sample config. Can anyone help with using oscam and a softcam.key file.
